We are looking for a motivated shop foreman who wants to build a solid career in the automotive industry. This person will ensure that repairs are carried out correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians. They will also ensure that the after-sales service consistently maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main duties:

Understand the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranties and policies and ensure compliance;

Ensure that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner;

Provide technical support to technicians as needed;

Ensure that repairs are billed correctly;

Check the progress of each repair throughout the day;

Maintain a high-quality repair service and minimize returns to the shop;

Perform intermittent checks on work performed to ensure accuracy and quality;

Test drive cars to verify the quality of the work performed;

Participate in handling customer complaints in collaboration with your supervisor;

Participate in service performance management using tools such as daily operations monitoring, efficiency and productivity monitoring, workshop return reports, warranty reports,



telephone or email surveys, and monthly forecasts;

Monitor the condition of the workshop, including

Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and inventory of special tools;

Stay abreast of federal, provincial, and municipal regulations affecting occupational health and safety, maintenance work, such as hazardous waste disposal, etc.

Excellent technical skills in automotive mechanics to support technicians.
