Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (10+ years) to support capital markets transformation initiatives using Aladdin, Snowflake, and investment data platforms

Join a multi-year investment platform transformation replacing a core investment book of record with BlackRock Aladdin and building a recent cloud data platform on Snowflake. This role sits within the Data Platform and Integration group supporting conversion, data integration, data platform, and custom solution delivery streams across capital markets and investment data domains. The environment is focused on hands‑on analysis, data capability ownership, and transformation delivery across current and target state investment platforms.

The team is expanding to support increasing build work and system consolidation initiatives across investment and data platforms.

12 month contract, 4 days onsite

Must Haves

- 10+ years in business analysis and data analysis supporting data platforms, investment platforms, and large transformation programs
- Expert‑level SQL, relational data modelling, dimensional data modelling, and hands‑on data analysis
- Advanced requirements elicitation, business process modelling, user stories,



and source to target mapping
- Direct experience with capital markets, investment systems, Aladdin, Snowflake, SimCorp, Eagle PACE, or Calypso
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Nice to Have
- Performance measurement and attribution expertise across fixed income and equity strategies
- Exposure to Aladdin Data Cloud, eFront, Charles River, FactSet, Bloomberg, or Yardi
- CBAP or CFA certification
- Experience using generative AI tools and prompt engineering for analysis and documentation

Responsibilities
- Own business and data requirements across investment platform and data transformation initiatives
- Perform hands‑on data analysis, reconciliation investigation, and transformation validation
- Facilitate workshops with investment, operations, risk, performance, and finance stakeholders
- Define and execute business test plans including integration, regression, and performance testing
- Support conversion of holdings, transactions, and reference data into Aladdin
- Build understanding of current investment and data platforms to support target‑state design
- Maintain data documentation including lineage, metadata, and source-to-target mappings
