About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Distribution to join their team in Kimberley . This role is critical for the planning, design, and implementation of reliable and efficient electrical distribution networks. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and integrity of power supply, working on challenging projects that serve a wide range of clients and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of medium and low voltage power distribution systems .

Perform detailed electrical system analysis, including load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.

Specify and select electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, cables, and protective devices.

Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for distribution networks.





Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international electrical standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical power distribution engineering.

Deep understanding of power system protection principles and relay settings.

Proficiency with power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, CYME, PSCAD).

Experience in project management and leading engineering teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
