Position Overview
Experience
Minimum of four years recent related nursing experience.
Experience supervising staff required, preferably in a unionized workplace.
Community experience an asset.
Case Management experience an asset.
Consistent with the French Language Services Policy of the Government of Manitoba and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority's French Language Services Policy, the WRHA is committed to offer services in French and English in designated program/service areas serving francophone communities in Winnipeg. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required.
Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with Employer policy.
Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and use of a vehicle.

Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large complex workload to meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills - both oral and written.
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge and understanding of cultural diversity as it relates to clients and staff.

Basic computer skills in a windows environment.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
