Shape the future of water resource management at Highland Valley Copper as Teck's Chief Engineer. Focused on both safety and compliance, you'll direct critical water planning initiatives in this full-time role.

Reporting directly to the Integrated Planning and Production Superintendent, you will implement strategic water plans and oversee all related work at this open-pit copper mine. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the site-wide water management strategy
• Develop and maintain water forecasting and monitoring programs
• Provide QA/QC oversight of water-related initiatives
• Mentor the water planning team in best practices




• Coordinate activities across operations and sustainability teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in water resources or related engineering discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in water management
• Technical expertise in water modelling and planning
• Registered or eligible with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
