The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Winter 2027 FNCE 341 (Canadian Business Finance). Classes in the Winter 2027 semester run from January 11 to April 13, 2027. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 16 to April 27, 2027, if applicable.

FNCE 341 (Canadian Business Finance)

LEC 01 Tuesday / Thursday 9:30am - 10:45am

The Calendar description of the course:

"An introduction to business financial management practices in Canada including investment decision, capital markets, and sources, uses and costs of capital over short, intermediate and long run situations."

Qualifications

- MBA degree or equivalent and work experience in the field are desirable
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience is a requirement
- Preference will be given to applicants who have experience providing instruction face-to-face and online in a post-secondary setting
- Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset
