As a Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter , you are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and testing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are in compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving, and customer service skills to ensure the proper functioning of fire protection systems.

$55.00 - $60.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience

A minimum of 40 hour week, primarily between Monday and Friday (except when on-call, or work on special projects)

Who You Are

You are diligent in writing reports and paperwork

What You Bring

Certified in the applicable field (sprinkler systems and/or Cross Connection Control)

A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is required to operate a company vehicle

What You'll Do

Conduct inspections on sprinkler and related systems

Repair systems and perform maintenance

Prepare reports for completed inspections, repairs or maintenance

Complete scheduled appointments and provide appropriate comments

Utilize scheduling software as directed by management

Complete timecard submissions

Maintain company vehicle

Represent Sterling Fire with clients

Communicate with dispatch and management

Attend service calls

Troubleshoot systems

Participate in on-call rotation
