- Develop models to guide pit slope safety
- Collaborate on geotechnical risk management strategies
- Lead field investigations and mapping initiatives
- Assess and monitor geotechnical hazards in operations
- Mentor junior engineers and geoscientists in the field Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Geology or equivalent
- At least seven years of relevant geological experience
- Professional registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
- Experience in complex sedimentary geology, preferable in coal
