Join a large-scale cybersecurity initiative focused on advancing multi-factor authentication and Risk Based Authentication capabilities within an enterprise Identity and Access Management environment. This role supports high-profile security projects by assessing security risks, advising stakeholders, and driving implementation of authentication controls and access policies. The position works closely with business and technology teams across a broader security organization supporting enterprise authentication services.

The opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement within a growing Cyber Security division.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Tuesdays and one Friday every month

12 months

Must Have Requirement

Candidate must have IAM experience. - at least 7-10 years of experience as an Information Security Consultant or a similar role.

Certification in CISSP or CCSP

Experience in Adaptive MFA and Passwordless solutions an asset. Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, OpenID, FIDO, SSO and web protocols XML, SOAP, JSON, REST. Working experience on cloud environment like Azure.

Should have hands-on working knowledge of ITIL Service Lifecycle.

Knowledge of leading market tools (Microsoft, CyberArk, ForgeRock) and their MFA solutions.

Liaise with the business teams on implementation and adoption of CIBC controls, Adaptive MFA capabilities

Nice to Have

You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

Assess high-profile projects for security risks and identify potential exposures

Present practical and achievable security recommendations to stakeholders and senior management

Lead and deliver Modern Authentication initiatives

Liaise with business teams on implementation and adoption of authentication controls and access policies

Improve multi-factor authentication processes, controls, and communications across stakeholder groups

Contribute to the zero trust roadmap and policy development for Risk Based Authentication

Review, test, and implement security products and control techniques
