Inventory & Delivery Associate

This person is responsible for delivering products/supplies to our valued customers. Duties would also include operating freight, handling equipment, maintaining and operating company vehicles, upkeep of warehouse space, verifying paperwork and providing excellent customer service (which includes friendly and positive communication, a steady pace and order accuracy). Our goal is to exceed our customers expectations and to provide the best customer service experience in PEI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicating with customers in a positive, helpful manner;

Projecting a professional appearance;

Moving heavy and bulky merchandise for customers and sales personnel;

Assist in loading and unloading merchandise and materials;

Following all safety policies in place, reporting unsafe work conditions, keeping a safe and tidy work area;

Advising the Manager of shortages or damaged goods;

Verifying sales and delivery documentation;

Following policies related to required signatures, forms, receipts, returns, etc.

Following policies related to deliveries and receiving;





Ensuring customer complaints are resolved or redirected to the Manager;

Maintaining confidentiality of store and customer records, inventory;

Organizing inventory – keeping it well stocked, tidy and well signed;

Operating freight handling equipment in a safe manner;

Other duties as assigned by Management.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have a valid PEI driver's license and maintain a good driving record and lawfully operate all company vehicles used to make deliveries;

Self-motivated/able to work independently;

Professional, friendly and helpful attitude at all times;

Attention to detail;

Willingness to learn;

Ability to work at a steady pace;

Familiar with basic computer programs;

Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required;

Able to visually verify contents of a shipment;

Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs, bending, standing;

Full time permanent position year-round, with advantages after a successful probation.
