Arlyn Recruiting is working with our client , a leading national full-service law firm, to recruit a Compliance Paralegal to join its Corporate Commercial Group. This is an opportunity for an experienced corporate compliance skilled to join an established legal team and take on a significant role supporting corporate compliance and governance matters.

The successful candidate will coordinate a high-volume workflow of corporate compliance matters, working closely with lawyers, clerks, and legal support professionals. Approximately 50–75% of the role will involve billable corporate compliance work.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate a high-volume corporate compliance workflow, including:

Annual resolutions for British Columbia and federal corporations

British Columbia and cross-Canada registrations and annual filings

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve and implement compliance processes and procedures

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to paraprofessionals on corporate compliance matters

Assist with special projects relating to corporate compliance and governance

Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Perform approximately 50–75% billable corporate compliance work





Qualifications & Experience

Paralegal diploma and/or equivalent relevant work experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience specifically in corporate compliance

Strong experience with corporate compliance requirements, including annual resolutions, registrations, and filings

Experience with corporate database technology; cloud-based technology is an asset

Knowledge of iManage, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a high-volume workflow

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement

About the Opportunity

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, depending on experience and other factors.
