Agam is seeking highly motivated and analytical students to join our office in Canada.

Key responsibilities include:
Support M&A;, reinsurance transactions, and recent deal underwriting activities
Develop asset and liability models for life insurance and annuity blocks of business
Analyze insurance balance sheet for deal pricing, strategic asset allocation (SAA), hedging, and stress testing
Optimize processes across actuarial, risk, and finance functions at various operating entities

Requirements:
3rd to 4th year in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
High academic achievement and at least 3 SOA exams passed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a highly dynamic environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access

Preferred:
Understanding of insurance balance sheet
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C# or Python
Knowledge of asset modeling concepts and methodologies is a plus
