The roleoperatesin a consulting capacity, providing architectural and subject matterexpertiseacross current-state assessment, target-state design, and migration planning for multi-petabyte data environments.The position involves direct engagement with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to guide architectural decisions and provide technical oversight throughout the initiative.Who You Are:You are a senior storage architect with experience designing and governing enterprise storage and data protection architectures in regulated environments.You bring a disciplined, risk-aware approach to architecture, with the ability to clearly define scope, constraints, assumptions, and trade-offs. You are experienced in advising implementation teams rather than executing operational tasks, and you arecomfortableengaging directly with senior technical stakeholders.Work Type:Location: Remote, Canadaor withinGTAVacancy Type: This role is a newly created positionEngagement Type: Contract (6 months)What You’ll DoPerform structured current-state assessments of enterprise storage and data protection environments, with emphasis on Dell ECS, Dell Data Domain, and Dell NetWorker platformsIdentify architectural constraints, dependencies, and risk factors associated with large-scale data storage and migration in regulated environmentsDefine target-state storage and data protection architectures aligned with scalability, resiliency, compliance,



and performance requirementsDevelop migration strategies for petabyte-scale data sets, including sequencing, validation, cutover, and rollback considerationsProduce and maintain architectural artifacts, including logical designs, high-level physical designs, and migration approach documentationProvide technical governance and architectural oversight to internal and client implementation teams executing the migrationReview and validate implementation designs and plans for alignment with the approved architectureParticipate in technical deliberations, design reviews, and risk discussions with client stakeholdersAct as a senior technical advisor and escalation point for architecture-related decisions throughout the engagementWhat We’re Looking ForSenior-level background in storage infrastructure architecture within large, complex enterprise environmentsArchitectural ownership of solutions based on Dell ECS and Dell Data Domain platformsLeadership of large-scale on-premises to cloud or hybrid storage migration initiativesExposure to regulated environments with associated compliance, risk, and governance considerationsDeep understanding of enterprise backup and data protection architectures,
