As an Elder Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness within patient care areas and other environments. You will report any safety concerns to supervisors, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Knowledge of Indigenous values is preferred, amplifying cultural respect in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep patient care areas and rooms clean and protected
• Remove litter and maintain ice-free entrances
• Report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions
• Follow cleaning procedures for equipment use
• Engaged in flood and post-construction cleanups
Requirements:
• Experience in housekeeping preferred
• Must communicate effectively in English
• Indigenous language skills are welcomed
• Physical ability to perform lifting tasks
• Satisfactory criminal and abuse registry checks
