Manager, Auto Service Operations
to join the team. This is a corporate leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — supporting
retail and fleet/commercial Auto Service channels

Reporting to the AVP, Auto Service and Operations, this position plays a key part in improving
in-store processes , strengthening
operational execution , and managing the
Fleet/Commercial Auto Service business . You'll work closely with Dealers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to translate insights into action and support meaningful growth across the business.
About the Role: Manager, Auto Service Operations At its core, this role is about enabling Dealers and their teams to perform at their best. You'll collaborate directly with
Dealer committees
to simplify operations, identify opportunities to grow sales and store profitability, and ensure that Auto Service priorities are executed consistently and effectively. From developing and implementing strategies to preparing presentations for senior leadership, the scope of this position is broad and consequential.
The successful candidate will also take ownership of the
Fleet/Commercial program , overseeing partner execution, operational readiness, and performance tracking across the Dealer network. You'll need to be comfortable managing
multiple work streams simultaneously , communicating clearly across all levels of the organization, and fostering a culture of
continuous improvement
— all while modelling Canadian Tire's core values of being driven, courageous, and united.
Benefits and Salary Canadian Tire offers a
broadband salary range of $79,000 to $131,000 CAD , with a typical hiring range between
$110,000 and $120,000 CAD
— with final offers dependent on experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Beyond compensation, employees have access to

Responsibilities This role demands strong
operational leadership
across a wide range of priorities. Day-to-day, you'll be driving alignment between Corporate strategies and Dealer-level execution, managing projects from planning through to measurement, and ensuring that both retail and
fleet/commercial channels
have the support they need to succeed.
Collaborate
directly with Dealer committees to identify opportunities to simplify the business, increase sales, and improve store profitability
Support
the operational execution of retail and fleet/commercial Auto Service priorities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, Dealer needs, and customer expectations
Develop
and support strategies that improve overall Auto Service performance, including sales growth, service retention, operational consistency, and customer experience
Partner
with internal teams, Dealers, stores, and external stakeholders to define business requirements, resolve operational barriers, and ensure consistent execution of key initiatives
Monitor
operational and business performance, identify opportunities to improve service delivery and profitability, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Analyze
data to make informed decisions and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
Prepare and deliver
presentations to senior management and stakeholders
Oversee
multiple work streams and project phases simultaneously, tracking progress and adjusting as needed
Develop
clear communication plans to keep Dealers and their teams informed of key Auto Service priorities
Promote
a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback, analyzing lessons learned, and applying best practices
Manage
the Fleet/Commercial business for CT Auto Service, supporting program development, partner execution, and performance tracking across the Dealer network
Requirements / Skills Canadian Tire is looking for a well-rounded leader who brings both
strategic thinking
and hands-on operational know-how. The right candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, building trust with diverse stakeholders, and maintaining a sharp focus on results — even when managing competing priorities.
Post-secondary education
in business or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience
Minimum 5 years of corporate experience , with a deep understanding of business principles, financial management, and operational metrics
Experience managing vendor, partner, and B2B relationships , including balancing business requirements, store execution, and stakeholder alignment
Proven ability
to develop and execute business strategies and initiatives that achieve financial performance and operational targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and challenge the status quo
Excellent communication and facilitation skills , with the confidence to represent the team across various levels of the organization and in stakeholder forums
Highly organized , with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Understanding of Canadian Tire operations
and a passion for the automotive sector are considered solid assets
Post-secondary education in business or related area with a minimum of 5 years progressive management experience; minimum of 5 years of corporate experience; experience managing and supporting vendor, partner, and B2B relationships; strong understanding of Canadian Tire operations is an asset; passion for automotive and a desire to collaborate, influence, and work with a variety of entrepreneurial Dealers.
