Working closely with clients, media partners, and internal teams, the Planner contributes to campaign planning, proposals, negotiations, reporting, and the development of strategic recommendations.This role is focused on learning Talon's planning processes, developing a strong understanding of the OOH marketplace, and delivering accurate, high-quality work. It is an excellent chance for a motivated, analytical, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual looking to build foundational knowledge and skills required to become an OOH media expert.A DAY IN THE LIFE_Maintain day-to-day contact for all clients,
ensuring requests are executed efficiently and accurately while adhering to clients' strategic directionSupport the building and curating of media plans and proposals with the line manager and/or other senior members of the planning teamWork closely with the planning team to manage client contact; vendor relationships; & all aspects of acampaignDevelop POVs and provide recommendations to clientsProvide administrative support to ensure seamless execution of plansAnticipate client needs by identifying areas of growth in products/services/capabilities; collaborate with the planning team on opportunities within client groupEnsure process consistencies are met to achieve gold standardsSupport senior team members as needed across all clientsNegotiate buys strategically to ensure savings and meet client objectivesProvide feedback to partners and vendorsUnderstand established systems and processes, follow them consistently, and raise opportunities for improvementBecome fluent with Talon's proprietary buying/planning platformsStay up to date on industry trends and performance across all OOH channelsBuild awareness and knowledge of media partner/vendor out-of-home portfoliosDevelop POVs against client objectives and strategies for any new OOH opportunities/formatsDemonstrate a clear understanding of the client's business by becoming a "student" of the client's brand and client competition to better plan and align client objectivesDesign and present in a professional manner to internal teams for approvalOrganize and prioritize daily tasks effectively, seeking guidance from the line manager or senior team members as needed to ensure deadlines and expectations are metWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR_Excellent communication skills,
