Support hospice patients and their families at Hospice Kingston in this part time Personal Support Worker role. Your leadership in care will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere during critical times.

In your role as a Personal Support Worker at Hospice Kingston, you'll deliver hands-on care, assist with personal needs, and create a home-like environment for patients. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will draw on your pastoral skills and experience to provide quality support, aiming for continuous improvement in care practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care following their care plans
• Assist with personal care, including bathing and grooming
• Apply creams and dressings as directed by pharmacy




• Support patients with mobility and bathroom needs
• Attend to incontinence and colostomy care requirements

Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate from an accredited PSW program
• Palliative Care Certificate preferred upon hiring
• CPR/First Aid Certification is mandatory
• 2 years minimum in hospice or palliative care
• Proficiency in interdisciplinary teamwork and volunteer support
