We are currently seeking Welders/Fitters for Structural Fabrication and Bucket shop. Positions available: 2
The candidate must have a min. of 3 years experience.
Must have a Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) National certificate
Must have a valid welding ticket in FCAW/GMAW.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver’s abstract.
Must be able to report to a team leader to take direction and work independently in a fast-paced work environment.

Duties include:
Readand interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.




Operatemanual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments usingprocesses such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding(GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metalarc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding andsubmerged arc welding (SAW)
Operatemanual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
Operatebrazing and soldering equipment.
Operatemetal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening andbending machines.
Repairworn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.
Strong communication skills in English is an asset
