Support educational excellence as an Educational Assistant at Six Nations Polytechnic. This onsite role focuses on assisting teachers and fostering the success of students with diverse learning needs.

You will collaborate closely with teachers and resource staff to ensure effective implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) while creating an inclusive classroom setting. Your dedication will help monitor student progress and enforce behaviour modifications aligned with Indigenous values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance with Individual Education Plans for students
• Report on student progress to classroom teachers
• Support the implementation of social skills programming
• Oversee classroom and extracurricular activities
• Engage with the community to maintain collaborative ties

Requirements:
• Completion of a relevant post-secondary program
• Up to 1 year experience with diverse learning needs
• Experience with D2L and Microsoft TEAMS software
• Must have a valid Criminal Background Check
• Preference for candidates from Indigenous backgrounds
