We are hiring a Physiotherapy Assistant to help residents in a Long Term Care facility in Aurora, Ontario. This part-time role focuses on assisting with treatment programs and monitoring patient progress.

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work directly under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, engaging with residents to help them achieve their therapy goals. Responsibilities include conducting exercises, noting treatment outcomes, and assisting residents with everyday movements. You’ll also monitor and report on any health changes, ensuring safe and effective care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead group exercises and provide individual therapy support
• Assist residents in reaching their therapy goals




• Document progress after therapy sessions
• Help with safe walking and sitting transfers
• Carry out treatments like hot wax and TENS therapy

Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Physiotherapy Assistant program
• Robust multi-tasking and communication skills
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
• Valid police check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Must be a local resident of Aurora
