About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Security Engineer to spearhead security initiatives from their offices in Kimberley . This senior role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions across the organization's infrastructure. You will lead a team of security engineers, mentor junior staff, and play a critical role in shaping the company's security architecture and strategy. Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level security solutions. Oversee the implementation and management of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the security engineering team. Develop and maintain security infrastructure documentation and operational procedures. Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure lifecycle.



Respond to and investigate complex security incidents, providing advanced technical analysis. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering and architecture. Deep technical expertise in network security, cloud security, and systems security. Proven experience with scripting and automation tools for security tasks. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable. Benefits
