Role Summary
CHARM Fertility is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to build their accounting career in a fast-paced, patient-centred healthcare environment. Working closely with the Controller, the Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, assist with payroll processing, and maintain accurate financial records across multiple clinics.

Role Overview

Assist with daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, OHIP billing, and bank reconciliations

Prepare and process journal entries, expense reports, and payment runs

Support monthly and year-end closing activities

Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Assist with payroll processing and reporting through ADP Workforce Now

Record transactions and maintain ledgers in QuickBooks

Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Provide financial data and support for audits and management reviews





Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies

Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes

Ideal Candidate

Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or professional services environment

Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now; strong Excel skills

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
