Join Our Team as a Building Manager! We are currently looking for a Building Manager for a residential property (Strata) based in North Vancouver. High-rise building, 27 floors, 321 units. This will be a full-time position. The Building Manager is responsible for interaction between residents, the strata council, and the property manager, and to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the building.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and supervise the site
Perform minor handyman repairs. Monitor and maintain garbage and recycling rooms
Basic security detail: checking doors, reporting suspicious activity
Key holding and alarm response. Fob and enterphone programming
Call trades in the event of elevator malfunction, flood, plumbing issues, police, fire, or ambulance
Coordinate and log move-in / out bookings
Collect damage deposits for move-ins / outs
Perform pre/post inspections with the resident
Administrative duties (post notices, collect funds for additional fobs / keys, submit activity reports to PM)
Monitor and address parking violations and improper usage of parking areas
Consistent communication with the property manager to ensure the building is secure, maintained, and running smoothly
Submit caretaker reports regularly (frequency upon PM’s request)
Greet residents and guests. Respond promptly to tenant questions and requests
Report concerning issues with tenants / residents to PM




Respond to noise and smoking complaints
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settings
Reliable and punctual
Possess a keen eye for detail. Customer service experience is an asset
This role involves occasional use of equipment like leaf blowers and pressure washers, with full training provided
Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, are essential for this role
Experience with using a leaf-blowing machine and power washing machine
Ability to deal with residents in a professional, positive, and friendly manner
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to carry weight up to 35 lbs
Working hours: 8 am - 4 pm
Job Type: Full time, Monday-Friday
Pay: $29-$30
