Empower Simcoe is seeking a temporary Community Participation Support Worker in Orillia. Utilize a personal outcome-based approach to support individuals in achieving community engagement and integration.

This six-month contract focuses on enhancing participation in recreational and work-related activities for those supported. The role requires commitment to flexible hours, including some weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate community-based activities to develop life skills
• Collaborate in individual goal planning sessions
• Assist in fostering positive relationships and independence
• Ensure qualified conduct as a community role model
• Support transitions from school to community involvement

Requirements:
• Developmental Service Worker diploma or equivalent
• One year relevant experience in community support
• Valid class 'G' driver’s license and transport
• Familiarity with community resources and individual needs
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
