Warehouse Manager Pay Range:
Hourly Pay: $25 - $30 / hourdepending on experience

Warehouse Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the shop

Process inventory for delivery.

Receive freight and material deliveries and ensure quality. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper locations

Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.

Move materials, tools, and equipment to and from UMC warehouse, jobsites, and supply houses

Prepare, sort, and kit materials for delivery as needed

Track and audit company tool assets.

Performs additional duties as assigned

Warehouse Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

Have Highschool diploma/ GED or Equivalent

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must have dependable transportation, able to pass a background check, physical and drug screening, and be authorized to work in the USA

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR). CDL is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of prior forklift experience required. Current forklift certification is a plus; certification training will be provided for candidates with expired or no prior certification.

Experience with properly securing equipment and materials on trailers is required

Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality and organization of inventory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to take direction well.

Familiarity with plumbing and or HVAC parts and terminology is a plus

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with inventory software, and able to upload data into the company system (will train).

Able to work independently.

Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and maintain the confidentiality of business information.

Possess good organizational, interpersonal,



initiative andproblem-solving skills.

Must be able to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; climb or balance; stand; walk; lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally team lift or move up to 100 pounds; work overhead and in cramped quarters.

Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by UMC, Inc.

While performing this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Occasionally exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites occurs. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The performance of work happens in outside weather conditions. Mitigate these hazards or stop work until conditions improve when applicable.
