Personal Assistant (PA) / Support Worker - Job ref: FP/ER - 26 (North Lanarkshire) Night Shift - Female Personal Assistant Required
Location: Airdrie
Hours of work: 10:00pm to 10:00am
Positions available for up to 4 nights per week (up to max 48 hours)
Job share opportunities available and days negotiable
Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
Chance for additional hours to cover annual leave and sickness where available
A caring and reliable Female Personal Assistant is required to support a young woman with physical and neurological disabilities who lives in the Airdrie area.
You will be supporting a young woman within her home during the night, helping to ensure she feels safe, comfortable, and reassured. The role will involve providing person-centred overnight support in line with the young woman's individual needs, including assistance with personal care, mobility, medication support where required, and maintaining a calm and comfortable environment throughout the night.
Applications are currently invited for Night Shift Female Personal Assistants to provide overnight support within the young woman's home. This rewarding role would suit someone who is compassionate, proactive, and committed to promoting independence and wellbeing.
Duties Include Attending to all personal care needs, including showering, dressing and toileting
Assisting with medication as required
Providing reassurance and support throughout the night
Supporting mobility needs, including assistance with a manual wheelchair where required
Light household duties
Assisting with daily living tasks to promote independence
Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment overnight




Female applicants only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010)
Driver essential, with willingness to drive a manual mobility vehicle
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Warm, friendly, and caring nature
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Previous care or support experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
