Position Summary
CommerceLink Logistics is looking for a dedicated and safety-oriented Class 1 Drivers to join our team. This role involves transporting goods within the Interior, (Sicamous switch) and surrounding area ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units safely on regional routes

Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight across Alberta

Complete pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections

Ensure proper securement of all loads in compliance with safety regulations

Maintain accurate electronic or paper logbooks (E-Logs preferred)

Comply with all Alberta and Canadian transportation regulations, including Hours of Service

Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and updates





Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations

Report any incidents, delays, or mechanical concerns promptly

Follow all CommerceLink Logistics policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver’s License

Clean driver’s abstract and strong safety record

Minimum 2 years of Class 1 mountain driving experience

Previous Mountain Driving Experience is Required

Knowledge of British Columbia highways and regional routes

Experience with dry van, reefer, and heater is an asset

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to work, evening, nights, weekends and holidays

Driving in wide-ranging weather and road conditions

Long hours of sitting with occasional physical work (load securement, inspections)
