We draw on our extensive field experience to design systems that balance serviceability, economics, and new technology, helping our customers improve their products.We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist who can operate with urgency, think strategically, and take ownership of supplier performance, cost control, and material availability.Job PurposeThe Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for procuring materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations at optimal costs.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure materials are available when needed with minimal disruption to production.Build proactive, rather than reactive, supplier relationships.Consistently evaluate and optimize costs.Actively manage inventory levels, avoiding shortages and excess.Identify issues early and resolve them efficiently.Coordinate with suppliers: negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure a steady supply.Manage inventory: control stock, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.Analyze supply‑chain data, forecast demand,



and optimize cost and landed cost of goods.Research parts online to compare pricing and market conditions.Collaborate with engineering on product development purchasing tasks.Issue purchase orders to numerous vendors and verify pricing and lead times.Follow up with vendors on incoming purchases.Maintain accurate records of all purchasing and supply transactions in the ERP (Spire) system.Update inventory pricing based on supplier cost increases.Adhere to organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.Collaborate with other departments, integrating logistics with company procedures.Experience and QualificationsPost‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field.5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply‑chain in a manufacturing environment.5+ years of international purchasing and supplier management experience.Familiarity with inventory management.Strong negotiation skills with a track record of cost savings or value improvements.Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.Experience with ERP systems (Spire preferred) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Outgoing personality, positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.High attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills.Ability to prioritize daily issues and strategize longer‑term projects.High level of integrity, work ethic, and positive team attitude.Capability to work independently or in a team environment.Hours of WorkMonday – Friday, 8:00 a.M. – 5:00 p.M.
