Blyth Academy, part of Globeducate, is looking for a passionate Guidance Counselor to assist secondary students in navigating their educational journeys. This role involves offering crucial support in course selection, post-secondary applications, and ensuring smooth transitions from grade 8 to 9. You'll collaborate with educators and families to create an encouraging environment tailored to student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel students in grades 9-12 on course choices
• Guide families through the post-secondary application procedures
• Manage necessary applications, including OUAC and OCAS




• Assist in developing and maintaining Student Support Plans
• Ensure proper handling of attendance and program inquiries

Requirements:
• College diploma or University degree preferred
• Minimum two years’ experience in guidance support
• Knowledge of university requirements and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with diverse student populations highly favored
