Senior Talend Data Integration Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise data integration solutions using Talend Studio / Talend Data Integration / Data Fabric .

Strong hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, orchestration workflows, reusable components, error handling, and batch/near-real-time integrations .

Must have 5+ years of Talend Management Console (TMC) / Talend Administration Center (TAC) experience covering deployment, scheduling, setting management, monitoring, execution tracking, and release promotion.

Must have hands-on experience with Talend Remote Engine, Job Servers, and runtime infrastructure , including configuration, troubleshooting, log analysis, connectivity, performance tuning, and platform reliability.

Strong production support experience including incident management, integration failure resolution, root-cause analysis, monitoring, performance optimization, deployment validation, and corrective actions.





Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server , including database design, optimization, administration, SQL development, data manipulation, transformation, cleansing, and wrangling.

Experience with Git-based SDLC, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, testing, release/change management, documentation, and enterprise deployment processes .

Nice-to-have: RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ/Azure Service Bus, Azure-based data integrations, ServiceNow integrations, scalable ETL pipelines, and data quality .

Experience using AI for code generation, data analysis, automation, and improving data-engineering productivity is required/expected.

Education: Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science or a related field ; role is primarily remote within Canada with availability for occasional Edmonton onsite meetings.
