Senior Transformation Analyst to support Middle and Back Office transformation workflows across Performance

Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Transformation Analyst (10+ years) to support Middle and Back Office transformation workflows across Operations, Performance, and Accounting

Join a large-scale transformation initiative supporting future-state Operations, Performance, and Accounting workflows within a financial services environment. This role supports Operation Daybreak by connecting business process knowledge, workflow impacts, testing observations, and stakeholder concerns into actionable insight for the Transformation Office. The position works closely with design, build, testing, and readiness activities across Middle and Back Office functions while providing visibility into risks, blockers, and operational impacts.

Contract, Toronto, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

- 10+ years supporting Middle and Back Office workflows within investment operations or related financial services environments
- Strong understanding of Operations, Performance, and Accounting processes including reconciliations, reporting, valuations, and close processes
- Experience supporting testing and readiness activities across workflow, controls, reporting, and operational processes
- Working knowledge of investment book of record, accounting book of record, performance book of record, data quality, and exception management

Nice to Have

- Experience within fund accounting, performance measurement, pension operations, or capital markets environments
- Exposure to large-scale technology transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with downstream data consumption and operational control processes

Responsibilities

- Develop understanding of current and future-state Middle and Back Office workflows, requirements, controls,



and dependencies
- Support design, build, configuration, testing, and readiness activities across Operations, Performance, Accounting, and related functions
- Gather information from stakeholders, program workstreams, business leads, and delivery partners to clarify requirements and emerging issues
- Identify and document gaps, blockers, dependencies, operational impacts, and readiness risks
- Provide updates to the Senior Manager, Transformation on progress, escalations, and decision requirements
- Review workflow documentation, requirements, test scenarios, readiness materials, and operating model artifacts
- Assist with preparation of status updates, briefing notes, issue summaries, and leadership materials
