You'll gain broad exposure across multi-currency banking, corporate credit cards, SOX controls, month-end and quarterly reporting while working as part of a dynamic accounting team.This is a 3-month contract. Join a team-oriented Vancouver team and be part of an organization that brings some of the world's biggest events and experiences to audiences around the globe.What – The Role:Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant, Bank Reconciliations will be responsible for the reconciliation of multiple bank accounts across currencies, company credit card reconciliations, as well as other tasks as assigned. Duties consist of reviewing, investigating, and reconciling account activity, as well as preparing journal entries in a high-volume environment.



Other responsibilities will include assisting with audit requests and other month-end and quarter-end procedures.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple CAD and USD accountsPrepare monthly bank reporting packages as part of SOX compliance controlsInvestigate and resolve reconciling items and account discrepanciesReconciliation of multiple company credit cardsPrepare journal entriesAssist with audit requestsSupport month-end proceduresSupport quarterly reporting requirementsReconciliation projects as assignedOther duties and projects as assignedWho – the Candidate:Strong analytical skills and very detail orientedStrong organizational & time management abilitiesAble to clearly and concisely present, both visually and verbally, complicated reconciliation data2+ years bank reconciliation or general ledger reconciliation experienceStrong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Oracle Fusion preferredExperience with AI an assetHow much:$38-$40/hr + 4% vacation pay.Where:Vancouver, hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite, 2 remote.
