Operating out of a 58,000 square foot facility with 75 ton of overhead crane capacity in 2 bays allowing Hydra to be a highly agile fabricator.

Responsibilities





Read and interpret isometrics and welding process specifications

Understand weld symbols

Weld in all positions

Conduct required pre-job/pre-task inspectionsComplete scheduled work in cooperation with the Foreman

Maintain a tidy, clean and safe work area

Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times

Perform basic cutting and welding of mild steel

Requirements

Must be a registered apprentice

Experience with shop fabrication

Experience using various hand tools (grinders, oxy/acetylene torches etc.)

Maintain safe work practices as outlined in company policies

Commitment to safety and safe work procedures

Self-motivated

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to work with little supervision
