Position Details

Location: Tuktoyaktuk, NT

Schedule Rotation: 14 days on 7 days off 12 hours per day

Wage: $ 50.88 (As Per Collective Agreement)

Accommodations: Camp

Travel: Provided from Edmonton, AB

Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On





Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for modular trailer complex renovations

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials

Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.

Ability to install and finish drywall, painting, interior systems, T-bar ceilings and finish carpentry are all assets for this position

What We Are Looking For

Valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Certificate

CSTS 2020

WHMIS 2015

Fall Protection

Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work

The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs

Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
