Overview Sr Copywriter or Sr Conversion Copywriter – Located in Edmonton, Alberta (or remote). Hours 40 per week. Salary $80k–$100k CAD + bonus. Vacation Three weeks.
Our agency (CH Agency) is recruiting a Sr. Conversion Copywriter, or a senior copywriter interested in learning conversion copywriting, to join our team full-time a) remotely across Canada or b) in Edmonton, Alberta.

You’re the one everyone goes to when it’s time to simplify complex concepts into ideas, email sequences, pages and, ultimately, phrases that move. And you always know the Why behind every word you write.

Responsibilities Envision and help develop strategies, messaging and copy for integrated digital, direct and social projects
Take a project from A to Z, writing emails, pages, ads, SMS and more for experiments and non-experiments
Analyze the control and research findings to develop hypotheses / big ideas
Apply your knowledge of UX, SEO, CRO and persuasion to every task
Participate fully in briefs, team meetings and client presentations
Follow and champion a data-first approach to crafting copy,



with voice-of-customer data and data-driven insights
Collaborate fully with Copy Director and Head of Research to translate client desires into creative, viable and conversion-focused strategies, concepts and copy
Write persuasively and on-brand for a variety of brands, audiences and price points, for B2B, B2C and B2E
Present concepts and copy in a compelling, persuasive manner, with confidence
Offer constructive criticism swiftly and thoughtfully
Qualifications 5 to 7 years’ agency or in-house experience in copywriting
A degree in English, Marketing or Science
A portfolio demonstrating the skills required to get the yes (leads, trial starts, sales, referrals)
Proven experience developing progressive digital, direct and social projects
Demonstrated ability to rationalize, judge and organize ideas
Incredible time management
A strong passion for the work
