Role Description: The Web Developer is a full time, in office role based in London, ON. The person in this role will build, maintain, and optimize websites that support client branding and customer experience objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end user interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs and third-party services, and ensuring sites are responsive, accessible, and performant. The Web Developer will collaborate with designers and branding strategists to translate creative concepts into functional digital experiences, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional web development experience is required
Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites
Proven experience working with WooCommerce and Shopify
Experience implementing APIs, forms, analytics and third-party website integrations




Knowledge of website performance optimization, technical SEO and accessibility best practices
Experience troubleshooting website functionality, compatibility and performance issues
Familiarity with Git/version control and modern development workflows
Working knowledge of hosting environments, domains, DNS, website migrations and deployments
Robust problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
Required Soft Skills:
Solutions-focused, resourceful and persistent when troubleshooting technical challenges
Accountable and dependable with the ability to take ownership of projects from development through launch
Highly organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator who can explain technical information to non-technical team members
