About Our Client Our client, an established distribution company in Vaughan, is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting function and working closely with management.
Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Complete account and bank reconciliations
Manage journal entries, accruals and month-end closing
Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable when required
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting
Prepare working papers and support external accountants and auditors
Ensure financial records are accurate, complete and properly maintained
Take on additional accounting and finance projects as required
Qualifications 15+ years of progressive accounting experience
Extensive experience with Canadian accounting practices




Strong full-cycle accounting and financial‑statement preparation experience
Comfortable working in a hands‑on, stand‑alone accounting position
Robust reconciliation, reporting and analytical skills
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Organized, dependable and able to work independently
