The Division is seeking innovative and visionary leaders with an excellent background as a classroom teacher and school-based administrator. The ideal candidate possesses exemplary interpersonal skills and a commitment to building and promoting a collaborative learning environment.
The vice principal will continue to build on our RDPSD tradition of developing the best educational experience for students.
The successful applicant will have an initial placement at a location to be determined.

Desirable qualifications:
Evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills
Evidence of a commitment towards building and promoting team-oriented learning environments
Evidence of establishing structures and supports focused on concurrent academic and social / emotional interventions
Evidence of leadership experience with diverse students
Evidence of a graduate degree OR evidence of substantial completion with a firm completion timeline towards a graduate degree in education, leadership, or a related field;
Evidence of high expectations for student achievement, literacy assessment, and effective literacy programming and interventions;




Evidence of a commitment to leading and supporting professional development and school improvement initiatives aligned with division and provincial directions
Evidence of a thorough understanding of how technology can be used to facilitate learning
Commitment to completion of LQS Certification
Evidence of successful experience as a Teacher Leader
