Location: Edmonton, Alberta officebased with occasional travel to project sites and customer locations in WesternCanada and the US (approx. 10% travel, including trade shows)

About the Role
Solv3 Group is a platform of three specialist industrial businesses serving oilsands, power generation, hydrogen, mining and petrochemical markets. Marketinghas historically been handled by operations and leadership which is no longersustainable.
Thisis a builder’s role. There is no existing marketing department, andhistorically multiple agencies contributed to the existing contentlibrary, resulting it inconsistencies, and organizational gaps. The person whotakes this job will design the function and then run it.
This is genuinely three mandates held by oneperson:
DCM needsrecruitment marketing to keep pace with project labour demand (craft andproject staff).
PCSI needsproduct marketing and sales support for its engineered combustionproducts.
TES and PCSI are both entering the US market and need brand development, positioning,and market entry support.
What You’ll Do
Buildand own annual marketing plans and budgets for each operating company
Runalways-on recruitment campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Indeed)and manage the careers site and application funnel
Producetechnical content — case studies, product literature, proposal materials,web copy, social campaigns, and presentation decks — by working directlywith various stakeholders including engineers, tradespeople, project staff,company leadership and customers
Ownthe three company websites plus the careers site (content, SEO, leadcapture) and run marketing operations in HubSpot (campaigns, lead routing,attribution, reporting)
Buildand execute a US market entry strategy: target account lists,account-based campaigns, trade show strategy, and industry/tradeassociation presence in the U.S.
Maintainbrand standards and an asset library across all three companies
Manageexternal vendors (designers, videographers, printers, web developers,media buyers)
SupportHR with employer branding and support business development withpursuit-specific materials
What We’re Looking For
5–8years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3 years inindustrial, construction, energy, manufacturing, or a comparable technicalsector
Demonstratedexperience in both recruitment/employer-brand marketing andproduct/service marketing
Provenability to translate technical subject matter into content that survivesengineering review
Hands-onproduction skills: design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, orequivalent), CMS/website management, marketing automation (HubSpotpreferred), paid social
Strongwriting — the single most significant skill for this role
Comfortableon industrial sites and able to meet site safety requirements
Ableto travel to the United States
Preferred: experience marketing intooil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, or heavy industrial end users;experience entering a new geographic market (especially US); skilled tradesrecruitment marketing (union/apprenticeship channels); trade show execution;familiarity with EOS; video production skills.
