We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our legal contract managementdepartment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legaloperations and document management within a corporate setting.
This internship provides an excellent chance to gain practical experience in legal operations anddocument management while working alongside experienced legal Contract Managementprofessionals. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed tomaintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities: Implement and maintain a repository of artificial intelligence prompts and tools to help theteam with contractual reviews.
Utilize tools to create and streamline routine tasks.
Organize and streamline the legal department's Google Drive, and database ensuring properfolder structure and file naming conventions.
Manage day-to-day filing of legal documents, both physical and digital, to maintain anefficient and organized system.
Coordinate and process various legal documentation, including:
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Certificates of Insurance
Contracts
Lien Waivers
Surety Bonds, Other relevant legal documents
Assist in tracking document status, expirations, and renewals.
Support the legal team with specific tasks as needed.
Hard Skills: Knowledge of legal terminology and concepts as used in commercial contracts
Knowledge and proficiency in using AI tools to help manage use of existing tools and tocreate tools to assist in administrative tasks.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Powerpoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Basic understanding of legal terminology and document types
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Education & Experience Currently pursuing a degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field
Required: Understanding of Legal and Contractual terms &conditions;
Fluency in English language (French is a plus)
Full-time availability for 12 months starting in May/June 2027
Preferred: Experience with document management systems

Compensation: The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $21.63- $23.69CAD
