Elevate the functionality of parliamentary committees as an Auxiliary Committees Coordinator with the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. This full-time role focuses on administrative and financial tasks.
You will be a key player in the Parliamentary Committees Office, reporting to the Parliamentary Committees Officer. Your responsibilities will encompass logistical support, organization of committee meetings, and managing communications effectively. You will also play a role in tracking financial activities ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate scheduling and organizational tasks for meetings • Facilitate committee communication and document distribution • Oversee financial record-keeping and report preparation • Maintain updated knowledge of committee activities • Develop strong team-oriented relationships with stakeholders
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in office administration • Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative experience • Skills in organizing group meetings preferred • Experience in financial administration is advantageous • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
