We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Snow Shovelers to join our team during the winter season. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible pathways in residential and commercial areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and possess skills in landscape maintenance and general construction.
Duties
- Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, and other designated areas using shovels and snow removal equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools as needed for efficient snow removal.
- Perform maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleared effectively and safely.
- Report any hazards or issues encountered during snow removal operations.
- Salt sidewalks after they have been cleared of snow.
Qualifications
- Experience with excavators or similar machinery is a plus.
- Familiarity with horticulture and landscape maintenance practices is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs on equipment is beneficial.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Solid physical stamina to handle the demands of shoveling snow for extended periods.
