Job Duties – Snow Shovel Driver

- Drive aPERSONAL VEHICLEduring all winter conditions
- YouNEEDto find at leastone partner to work with youto make a snow shoveling team!!!
- Transport bagged salt and shovels
- Shovel snow and apply salt to walkways for businesses and complexes
- Follow routes guided through our phone App with GPS directions
- Take before/after pictures and log service conditions in App
- On call based position that isweather dependant!We send a text and you let us know if you can or cannot accept the shift –THIS MEANS THAT YOU ARE CLASSIFIED AS CONTRACTORS RATHER THAN EMPLOYEES
- You need to be available for shifts fromNovember 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027

We provide an UNPAID orientation at our Abbotsford Salt Yard (usually about an hour).

We provide PAID training salting shifts, but the real work starts when there is snow!

Required:

- Smart Phone with data
- Valid Licence and vehicle
- Find at leastONE partner passengerduring shifts
- Willing to work overnight and/or early mornings, longer hours
- Willing to work in very cold weather
- Live within 30 minutes of Abbotsford or Surrey

Wage:

- DRIVER – Snow Shoveling Shift: $45/h
- DRIVER – Salt-only Shift Rate: $35/h
- PASSENGER – Snow Shoveling Shift Rate: $35/h
- PASSENGER – Salt-only Shift Rate: $25/h

Your pay is “Yard to Yard”.Clock starts when you arrive at supply yard at beginning of shift. Clock ends when you leave supply yard at end of shift.
