As a Software Developer Intern on the Genesys Cloud Analytics team, you will work alongside experienced engineers building the cloud-based data services that power analytics across Genesys Cloud.

You’ll contribute to real development projects while gaining exposure to large-scale data processing, distributed systems, and AWS technologies.Responsibilities/Job DutiesIn this role, the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Work with team members to design, develop,



and test features for the Genesys Cloud Analytics platform Contribute to services and data pipelines that process large volumes of customer interaction data* Develop and test software using languages such as Java or Python* Participate in code reviews and learn modern software engineering practices* Gain exposure to AWS, distributed systems, data processing, and CI/CD* Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws* Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics* Have funRequired Qualifications Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline Programming experience through coursework, projects, or previous internships using Java, Python, or a similar language* Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development* Interest in cloud computing, data engineering, analytics, or distributed systems* Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms Familiarity with SQL, databases, or data processing* Exposure to technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or AirflowCompensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below.
