We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our North America sales team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will sell, promote, and demonstrate the RIDGID & Greenlee lines of tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will reside in the Greater Toronto Area. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager for the Canada Region. Your job will be to offer unique perspectives and insights to the way customers view their business, align their insights and priorities, while tying those insights back to Emerson Professional Tools’ unique product differentiators. You will be able to drive two-way communications and clearly articulate our value proposition and engage the end-customer in jointly addressing their business priorities. This role will have the ability to define and implement sales plans, track economic drivers and industry activity, and understand the implications on customers’ business, including new business opportunities, which is crucial for success in this position.IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:Accountable for the direction, coordination, and growth of all utility market sales through direct customer contact and close coordination with local ProTools Territory Managers.Additionally, the ability to work in a matrix-managed environment which includes providing coaching and direction to regional Territory Managers.Performing field product demonstrations, training, & technical support with end-users and distribution channel partners.Driving strategic current products sales and solutions to expand markets and shareDeveloping, presenting, & executing annual business plans to deliver incremental sales growthDeveloping and Managing a monthly/yearly sales forecastDeveloping & owning relationships with both Key Distributor Partners and End UsersBeing the subject matter expert for the product, applications,



& pricing program for your given marketSupporting regional & national organizations through training and special projects executionWHO YOU ARE:You are self-motivated, a problem solver, and a solution provider. You enjoy & excel at building deep customer relationships. You plan, organize, & manage my work & time well. You prefer a hands‑on approach with a “roll‑up your sleeves and get dirty” mentality. You collaborate & communicate effectively both internally and externally across multiple teams.FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:Experience with distribution channels, with an emphasis on Electrical, Industrial, and Plumbing.Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or other relevant disciplines; OR a minimum of 2yearsrelevant experience instead of a bachelor's DegreeDemonstrated success in formulating, presenting, executing, & measuring a Territory Business Plan to deliver incremental sales growthStrong communication skills, both written and verbalPerforming field product demonstrations, training, & troubleshooting with end users and distributionDriving strategic new product sales and solutions to expand markets and shareDeveloping and managing a monthly/yearly sales forecastA proven track record and successful history of achieving goals and sales targetsDeveloping & owning relationships with both Key Distributor Partners and End UsersBeing the subject matter expert for product, applications,



& pricing program for your given marketSupporting regional & national organizations through training and special initiative executionBuilding & monitoring merchandising displays at key distributor channel partner locationsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work in Canada without the need for sponsorship now or in the futurePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:The ability to work independently and as part of a team2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or technical support of B2B Sales preferredProficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint; CRM Application experience a plus.OUR CULTURE & COMMITMENT TO YOUOur compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process.
