Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a bilingual (English/French) Senior Solutions Architect to join the Agentic WorkSpaces team in Toronto, Canada. This role operates at the intersection of enterprise desktop infrastructure and applied AI, with a primary depth in Agentic WorkSpaces platform architecture (60%) and advisory-level proficiency in applied AI and Large Language Model (LLM) deployment patterns (40%).

Agentic WorkSpaces Expertise (60%)

- Lead technical discovery sessions with public sector and enterprise clients to assess existing IT infrastructure, identify migration paths, and define production deployment architectures for Amazon WorkSpaces (Personal, Core Managed Instances, Core Bundles) and Amazon WorkSpaces Applications.
- Design end-to-end Agentic WorkSpaces architectures covering VPC/network topology, Active Directory federation or AWS Managed Microsoft AD, multi-region resilience, image lifecycle management, and protocol optimization for latency-sensitive workloads.
- Lead Technical Validation (TechVal) engagements - defining success criteria, executing structured test plans, validating performance under production-like conditions, and producing outcome reports with clear go/no-go recommendations.
- Design migrations from existing VDI platforms (Citrix Apps and Desktops, VMware/Omnissa Horizon) to Agentic WorkSpaces, including application compatibility assessment, user profile migration, and validation of print and peripheral redirection.
- Ensure production readiness: capacity planning, monitoring and alerting configuration (CloudWatch, WorkSpaces health APIs), patch management cadence, cost optimization (Reserved Instances, auto-stop policies), and development of operational runbooks.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders within client organizations.




- Deliver in-person and remote knowledge transfer sessions (workshops, immersion days, bootcamps) in both English and French.

Agentic AI Consulting (40%)

- Guide clients through the capabilities of agentic AI within Agentic WorkSpaces - including AI agent creation, model selection via Amazon Bedrock, prompt configuration, guardrail setup, and tool/action integration.
- Evaluate foundation model performance for workspace-specific use cases, balancing latency, accuracy, cost, and compliance requirements. Advise on model selection trade-offs between Anthropic Claude, Amazon Titan, and third-party models available via Bedrock.
- Design and deploy Model Context Protocol (MCP) server configurations that expose client tools, APIs, and data sources in a standardized format for dynamic discovery and agent tool invocation.
- Design Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication models enabling multi-agent orchestration across enterprise systems.
- Create and advise on agent evaluation frameworks - defining metrics (task completion rate, hallucination rate, P95 latency, cost per invocation), establishing baselines, and executing structured evaluations against production workloads.
- Conduct data readiness assessments: evaluate client data landscapes (CRM, knowledge bases, ticketing systems, identity stores), identify gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Advise on LLM deployment patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG),



fine-tuning decision frameworks, knowledge base configuration, vector database selection, and chunking/embedding strategies.

Cross-functional and Go-to-Market

- Create reusable artifacts - reference architectures, implementation guides, sample configurations, prompt libraries, and data readiness checklists.
- Provide structured product feedback to the Agentic WorkSpaces and Amazon Bedrock service teams based on real-world customer implementations.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, service engineering teams, and support.
- Author or contribute to publications for AWS customers such as white papers, blog posts, technical guides, and case studies.

Requirements

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French (native or near-native level)
- Deep expertise in VDI and DaaS platforms including Amazon WorkSpaces, Citrix Apps and Desktops, or VMware Horizon
- Enterprise network and identity architecture knowledge including VPC design and Active Directory federation
- Applied AI and LLM knowledge including Amazon Bedrock, prompt engineering, and RAG patterns
- Experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems including MCP server configurations and multi-agent orchestration
- Availability to travel up to 25%-50% across Canada for in office client engagements

Bilingual English/French proficiency required.
