We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Student-at-Law (Articling Student) to join our legal team.

Responsibilities

- Performing legal work and gaining practical legal experience under the supervision and direction of the Principal.
- Assisting the lawyers with legal research, drafting, reviewing, and preparation of legal documents.
- Meeting with and interviewing clients.
- Assisting with the preparation and management of client files, correspondence, pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
- Performing such other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be assigned by the Principal from time to time in connection with the Student-at-Law’s articles and career development.

Qualifications

- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited law school.




- Admitted to the practice of law with the Law Society of Alberta.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.

Salary

- Starting from $2,400 to $4,000 per month.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $2,400.00-$4,000.00 per month
