About the role

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patientsand families. Reporting to the Manager Facilities & Biomedical Services and Coordinators (Physical Plant and Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and Systems), this position is responsible for providing leadership for the operation, maintenance and monitoring of all electrical equipment, services and systems for the hospital and on the Hospital grounds.

Employment Requirements

Education/Experience

- Valid Inter Provincial Certificate of Qualifications &Ontario; College of Trades (current) ¡V Electrician ¡V
- Construction and Maintenance.
- Minimum of five years experience in the maintenance and operation of building electrical and automation systems.

Skills/Abilities

- Demonstrated technical and maintenance skills in regards to plantoperation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of all applicable requirements of the OccupationalHealth & Safety Act.
- Demonstrated preventative maintenance planning and CMMS skills.
- Proven ability to exhibit a courteous and professional mannerwhen interacting with colleagues, staff, patients and visitors.

Assets

- Current Emergency First Aid and C.P.R. Certification.
- TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority) IMT (Industrial Maintenance Technician) Certificate.

Salary Range: $38.860 to 40.450
