Pay: Approximately $4,000–$5,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced 5-tonne delivery driver to join our team. This is a full-time, local driving position involving deliveries and pickups throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area.

This is year-round work with a busy schedule throughout the winter and all 12 months of the year. We are looking for someone interested in stable, consistent employment rather than seasonal work.

The ideal candidate has previous LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) or general freight experience, knows Edmonton well, and is comfortable with both driving and the physical side of the job.

Responsibilities

- Complete local deliveries throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Pick up freight from customers and bring it back to our warehouse
- Follow daily dispatches through our company dispatch/delivery app
- Load and unload freight using a tailgate and pallet jack
- Properly secure freight and ensure loads are safe for transport
- Complete delivery and pickup documentation through the company system
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and warehouse staff
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the truck




- Follow all company and transportation safety procedures

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement (Q) – ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT
- Clean driver's abstract – very key
- Previous LTL, freight, or trucking experience – required
- Strong knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Good English communication skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone and company dispatch/delivery app
- Physically capable of loading and unloading freight
- Experience operating a pallet jack and tailgate is an asset
- Ability to properly secure loads
- Reliable, punctual, and professional

Assets
- Class 3 or Class 1 driver's licence
- Additional commercial driving experience
- Previous experience with 5-tonne trucks
- Previous LTL/general freight delivery experience

This is a hands-on driving position. The successful candidate must be comfortable with the physical requirements of loading and unloading general freight throughout the day.
