Duties

Safely operate a 5‑ton truck to deliver appliances to residential and commercial locations

Load and unload appliances using appropriate moving techniques and equipment such as dollies and forklifts when necessary

Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in excellent condition

Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide friendly service

Conduct pre‑trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations

Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing goods for delivery





Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents during shifts

Experience

Proven experience driving commercial trucks or similar heavy vehicles, preferably with a focus on appliance or freight delivery

Strong moving skills with the ability to handle heavy appliances safely and efficiently

Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is highly desirable but not compulsory

Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members

Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and safety procedures

Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence or equivalent license required for operating a 5‑ton truck
